A: No. Ora's prayer, calendar, saint, Mass, Office, and Latin dictionary content is bundled with the app. Internet access is only needed if you choose to open an external link.
Q: Which calendar does Ora follow?
A: Ora follows the traditional 1962 Roman calendar and uses source-resolved texts derived from the Divinum Officium project.
Q: Can I sync liturgical events to my iOS Calendar?
A: Yes. Enable "Saint of the Day Calendar" in Settings. Ora creates a dedicated calendar called "Ora — Saint of the Day" with one all-day saint entry and short biography per date. Optional labels identify fixed Holy Days of Obligation and major observances.
Q: Is my data private?
A: Yes. The developer collects no personal information through Ora. Core content and settings stay on your device; optional calendar entries may sync through your chosen calendar account. See our

Q: How are Ember Days shown?
A: Ora shows an advance notice during the week before Embertide and a dedicated card on each Ember Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Tap the card to read what Ember Days are and how Catholics have traditionally observed them. Optional same-day reminders are available in Settings.
Q: Is Latin available?
A: Yes. Mass sections place the Latin text above the English translation. Tap an individual Latin word for an offline morphology and dictionary explanation.
Q: How accurate is the liturgical data?
A: Ora's traditional Mass and Office content is generated from a pinned version of the open-source Divinum Officium project and checked by automated calendar and corpus tests. Ora is an independent app, not an official publication; consult your parish or diocese for jurisdiction-specific obligations.

Issue: Calendar sync isn't working
Solution:
- Go to iOS Settings → Apps → Ora → Calendars and allow access
- Open Ora → Settings → enable "Saint of the Day Calendar"
- Return to Apple Calendar and make sure "Ora — Saint of the Day" is visible
Issue: Notifications not appearing
Solution:
- Go to iOS Settings → Ora → Notifications → Enable all options
- Open Ora → Settings → Enable prayer reminders
- Choose your preferred times
Issue: App is showing wrong date
Solution: The app syncs with your device's date. Check iOS Settings → General → Date & Time. The app updates automatically at midnight.
Issue: Text is too small/large
Solution: Ora supports Dynamic Type. Adjust text size in iOS Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size.
